Brian Frawley (Editor and Publisher) - Brian started fly fishing when he was eight years old and his father bought him a Fenwick glass fly rod.  The first year of fly fishing was hard "I spent my first season untangling knots in my leader, fly line and myself!" Bob Jacobs mentored Brian to develop his fly fishing casting skills on the brown and rainbow trout of upstate NY. Brian also started tying flies at the age of twelve and continues to tie all kinds of patterns today. Thirty-four years later Brian still really enjoys all kinds of fishing but primarily enjoys fly fishing the most. Brian likes to fish at least once a summer in salt water for Stripers on Martha's Vineyard or Cape Cod or heading south, fishing for Bonito's under the hot Florida sun. Brian went peacock bass fishing in Florida this past summer and really enjoyed the experience. "If I see it, or hear of it, I want to try it, and that was peacock bass fishing for me!" Brian also enjoys battling the Salmon and Steelhead that visit Michigan Rivers each year. Brian is a member of FFF, Red Cedar Fly Fishers Member, and The International Game Fish Association. Brian is married with two young sons that love to fish!
