You drive down to that lake you’ve been dying to get to all winter long.  You get there and you notice that the lake is looking especially nice – no wind, so you know the fly will travel true to wherever you cast it.

Book Review: Clouser's Flies

Book Review: Bob Popovics' Pop Fleyes

I purchased this book because I wanted to learn more about tying with epoxy, and apply it to my fresh water adventures. I had used Bob Popovics' surf candy fly with great success on Cape Cod, so I was already good with epoxy fleyes.  And, it just so happened that I had used about a gallon of epoxy building a boat the previous summer, so purchasing this book was a no brainier for me. At first blush, the book looked very well put together physically and well organized, so I was ready for some good reading.
